No Title Yet chapter 3

When Ari open the box, she revealed small purse. It was black shiny leather, and had a heart made out of genuine diamonds on it. Ari had been wanting that purse for months, and was speechless, because she knew it had been expensive, and it wasn't a special occasion. Ari opened the purse, out of habit more than anything and saw three smaller boxes, all wrapped in the same style of the box the purse had been in, inside.
Ari set the purse in her lap and removed the smallest of the boxes. She unwrapped this as if the paper was expected to be reused. Once the paper had been removed, neatly folded and placed in her purse, Ari looked at the present. It was a small velvet box, one like a engagement ring would be found in. When Ari opened it, she was in awe of the beauty of its contents. There was a ring inside that was blatantly expensive. It had a decent sized pink diamond in the center, and was surrouned by little black stones. Ari knew that it was made out of platinum, because that is the only metal that Anthony had believed was good enough for his wife. When she lifted it out of the box she felt  a rough texture on the inside. The band had the words I Love You engraved on the inside. Ari's heart was so full of love and misery that it burst open when she slipped the ring next to her subtle wedding band. Ari replaced the empty box in the purse, after she had closed it.
She lifted a second box out of the purse, and unwrapped it with the same care as the previous packages. Once the paper had been folded and placed next to the other ones, Ari looked at the box. It was once again a black velvet box, only this one was about the size to hold a necklace. Ari opened the box as if it were made of glass. Inside there was a heart shaped locket. Ari just stared at it, until a familar arm was wrapped around her. She knew who it was by her smell. Inari, one of Ari's best friends was trying to comfort her. Ari turned her head to rest it upon Inari's shoulder while she sobbed. While Ari was crying, her mom came over to her and whispered words of comfort to her. Ari handed her mom the box containing the locket, and motioned for her to open it. Her mom looked at it for a minute before she told Ari that, she needed to look in it.
Inside of the locket, there were two pictures, one on each side. On the right side was the one of Anthony and Ari's first kiss as husband and wife. That was pehaps the best day of her life. She had loved her dress, and recalled how Anthony had let her have the wedding of her dreams. She smiled slightly at the memory, but was still hicupping softly. On the left side there was the picture that had been taken only a few months previously. In it was Ari, Anthony, Inari, both of Anthony and Ari's parents, Coco, and Lucky. Ari fondly remembered the pain that she had went through to pick that one as her favorite, getting the most of that particular picture. Ari handed the locket to Inari, who undid the clasp, and placed the locket in its rightful place, on Ari's neck. Ari's mom placed the box back in the purse and lifted out the third and final box.
Ari unwrapped this final present with the most care, wanting to rememeber the final things that Anthony had given her, and his last words, for as long as she lived. When she had finished unwrapping it, she opened her mouth in shock, and whisped only two words: 'he knew'. Inside there was three things. The first thing that Ari looked at was a baby blanket. It was white with small ducks on it, and was made of the softest material Ari had ever felt. The second thing was a siver picture frame that said: Our Baby on it. The third and final thing was a set of pacifiers one blue and one pink. When Ari looked at them closer, she say that they had diamonds on them. She shocked her not only that they made things like that but that Anthony would buy then for her, when he was not even suppose to know about the baby. She wondered how she found out but was interrupted by Inari and Ari's mom lifting her up and leading her to the car to go home.
